Maximum Credit Toward Degree Studies - up to 27 units pending approval of the student’s Faculty office

The Health Informatics program is designed to develop and/or enhance the core competencies for professionals working in the field of health informatics. Using technology, clinical guidelines, information systems, and data management practices, health informatics professionals optimize the collection, storage, and use of information in healthcare. Health informatics applies to the areas of nursing, clinical care, dentistry, pharmacy, public health, occupational therapy, and medical research.
