Honours Integrated Science - Chemistry Concentration (B.Sc.)

Admission

Completion of Honours Integrated Science I with a Grade Point Average of at least 5.0 including ISCI 1A24 A/B.

Program Notes

1. Given course scheduling, this concentration may take five years to complete.
2. Students are encouraged to consult with the departmental undergraduate advisor for Chemistry and Chemical Biology (chemadv@mcmaster.ca) for advice on course selection prior to registration.
3. Students are strongly advised to check prerequisites for upper-level Chemistry and Chemical Biology courses. The prerequisites should be considered when selecting your courses.
4. Students intending to seek admission to a graduate program in chemistry at McMaster should complete a minimum of 12 units of Level IV Chemistry.
5. ISCI 4A12 A/B  has CHEM 4G12 A/B  and CHEM 4RP6 as anti-requisites. 
6. Certain Level IV courses are offered in alternate years. Students are recommended to carefully consider course offerings in planning their course selection for Levels III and IV or III, IV and V.
7. One of CHEM 3EP3 A/B S, 3RP3  may be completed to satisfy units toward the Level III Chemistry requirement.

120 units total (Levels I to IV), of which no more than 48 units may be Level I
