Admission
Enrolment in this program is limited and possession of minimum requirements does not guarantee admission. Selection is based on academic achievement but requires as a minimum, completion of Honours Integrated Science I with a Grade Point Average of at least 5.0.
Program Notes
- Effective September 2024, students entering the program must complete ENVIRSC 1C03 by the end of Level II.
- Students who entered the program in September 2023 or prior must complete one of ENVIRSC 1C03 , ENVSOCTY 1HA3 and ENVSOCTY 1HB3 by the end of Level II.
- It is strongly recommended that students take either ENVSOCTY 1HA3 or ENVSOCTY 1HB3 by the end of Level II. The prerequisites should be considered when selecting your upper-level courses.
- All students are strongly encouraged to meet with the Academic Program Advisor in the School of Earth, Environment & Society to discuss program requirements and course selections.
- Students are strongly encouraged to check prerequisites for upper-level Environment & Society and Environmental Science courses. The prerequisites should be considered when selecting your courses.
- The field components of ENVIRSC 3ME3 , ENVSOCTY 3MF3 are normally taken outside of the normal term. Details are announced in March.
- Students may enroll in additional Environment & Society or Environmental Science courses as electives.
- It is strongly recommended that thesis work performed in ISCI 4A12 A/B is in a research field associated with a student’s concentration.
