Honours Integrated Science - Physics Concentration (B.Sc.)

Admission

Completion of Honours Integrated Science I with a Grade Point Average of at least 5.0 including ISCI 1A24 A/B .

Program Notes

1. All students are strongly encouraged to meet with the academic program advisor in the Department of Physics & Astronomy to discuss program requirements and course selections.
2. Students are strongly encouraged to check prerequisites for upper-level Physics courses. The prerequisites should be considered when selecting your courses.
3. Students wishing to complete the concentration in a timely manner should plan to complete MATH 2C03  in Level II and PHYSICS 3MM3 , MATH 3C03  and 3D03  in Level III.
4. DATASCI 2G03  is strongly recommended for students without good programming skills.
5. Completion of MATH 1B03  is strongly recommended in Level I as this course is a prerequisite for a wide selection of upper-level Math and Physics courses.
6. Completion of MATH 1B03  is required by the end of Level II.
7. Students interested in geophysics should consider taking EARTHSC 2E03  and 3V03 .

Requirements

120 units total (Levels I to IV), of which no more than 48 units may be Level I
