Enrolment in this program is limited. -
As places in the Honours Health and Society I program are limited, admission is by selection, and possession of the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission. - Beginning at Level II, Honours Health & Society students may complete one of the following program options:
- Honours Health & Society (B.A.)
- Honours Health & Society Specialization in Mental Health and Addiction (B.A.)
- Honours Health & Society (Co-op Option) (B.A.)
- Combined Honours Health & Society and Another Subject (B.A.)
- Honours Aging & Society (B.A.)
- Honours Aging & Society Specialization in Mental Health and Addiction (B.A.)
- Honours Aging & Society (Co-op Option) (B.A.)
- Combined Honours Aging & Society and Another Subject (B.A.)
- Health, Aging & Society (B.A.)
By default, students completing this Level I program will be considered for entry to Level II Honours Health & Society (B.A.), without needing to apply, provided they meet the required course grades and GPA requirements as stated for admission to that program. If students wish to be considered for any other Honours Health & Society or Honours Aging & Society program option, or any other Level II program not offered by this department, they must complete the Level II application form in April. Honours Health & Society I students are encouraged to review the specific program requirements of all program options they are considering for Level II (https://healthagingandsociety.mcmaster.ca/undergraduate-programs/honours-aging-society-ba/). In addition to the required Level 1 HLTHAGE courses, admission to Combined Honours programs also requires completion of the entry requirements for the other subject.
