Notes
- At least 3 units from Level I of the Sociology Course List must be completed for the minor. Optionally, an additional 3 units may be made up of another Level I Sociology course or a Level I course from the Multidisciplinary Course List.
- The 24 units of the minor may be made up entirely of selections from the Sociology Course List or, optionally, the 24 units may be made up of selections from the Sociology Course List and a limited number of selections from the Multidisciplinary Course List.
- Students are responsible for meeting prerequisites for upper year courses on either the Sociology Course List or the Multidisciplinary Course List. Students should check this Calendar for prerequisites and course descriptions.
- For students in an Honours Sociology program, at least 3 units drawn from Level II or above of the Sociology Course List must be Level III or Level IV Sociology. Students in a non-Sociology program will normally make selections from Level II or Level III of the Sociology Course List, but permission may be granted to take 3 units of Level IV Sociology.
- In order to declare a Minor in Immigration, Race Relations and Indigenous-Settler Relations, at least 12 units (above Level I) must be elective to degree.
