Interdisciplinary Minor in Food, Nutrition, and Environmental Health

This minor is made up of courses across four Faculties and over a dozen programs. A minor in Food, Nutrition, and Environmental Health provides students with an opportunity to learn about food production, food cultures, food systems, human nutrition, and how food is constrained by and in turn impacts human and environmental health.

Students wishing to pursue an Interdisciplinary Minor in Food, Nutrition, and Environmental Health may obtain more information from the Department of Anthropology .

  1. It is the student’s responsibility to check carefully for prerequisites, co-requisites, and enrolment restrictions of all courses in this list.
  2. Students should note that not all courses listed are available each year.
  3. Students are encouraged to seek guidance from their academic advisor to ensure they are meeting all enrolment requirements, including Faculty-specific requirements for double counting courses required for a student’s major.
  4. All courses have enrolment capacities. The Faculties cannot guarantee enrolment in courses for minors even when prerequisites have been met.
