The Honours in Aging & Society Specialization in Mental Health and Addiction (B.A.) program has been renamed. Students who had intended to enrol in this program should consider the Honours Social Gerontology Specialization in Mental Health and Addiction (B.A.) program. Students currently enrolled in this program may continue in the program or consult with an Academic Advisor in the Office of the Associate Dean, Undergraduate Studies regarding transferring into the Honours in Social Gerontology Specialization in Mental Health and Addiction (B.A.).

Courses other than those listed below in the Course List may be substituted with the prior permission of the Chair. Students wishing to apply for substitutions must contact the Administrator of the Department of Health, Aging and Society.
Requirements for Students who entered the program prior to September 2026:
120 units total (Levels I to IV), of which 48 units may be Level I
Electives, of which no more than 15 units may be from Health, Aging and Society (the maximum Health, Aging and Society courses to be taken is 72). Electives will be reduced by 3 units if students opt to take HLTHAGE 4Z06.
