Prerequisite(s): Enrolment in the Graduate Diploma in Clinical Epidemiology (GDCE) or by permission of Assistant Dean- HRM and instructor.

This is course is designed to introduce methodological issues to help you critically read scientific reports of health research. It will introduce you to the major components of research activities, including: study designs, selection of study populations, choice of measuring instruments, formulation of research questions, and study interpretation issues such as determination of causality and the effectiveness of clinical and community interventions.
