This course is designed to introduce students to the basic concepts and methods associated with observational and experimental research in the field of rehabilitation science. Topics include the following: clinical measurement concepts, etiologic investigation, therapeutic intervention investigation, prognostic determination, and systematic review assessment. . Learning resources for this course include selected readings from a number of textbooks and journal articles. Literature specific to rehabilitation science will form the cornerstone for the applied methodological examples provided in this course.
