GEOG 3ME3 - Environmental Studies Field Camp3 unit(s)
Within the context of a field project, this field camp introduces students to field techniques in environmental science and to the potential effects of environmental issues on human health and well-being.
The field camp component occurs outside of the regular academic term, usually two weeks preceding the start of term in September. Details and applications are available in March through the School of Geography and Earth Sciences.
Students enrolling in this course must pay both the incidental fees as prescribed by the School of Geography and Earth Sciences and the regular tuition fees. Students intending to enrol in this course must submit an application by April 1 of the academic year prior to registration. Application forms are available from the School of Geography and Earth Sciences main offi ce after March 1. Students will be informed of acceptance of their application by April 15 subject to fulfi llment of the requirements. One term Prerequisite(s): One of EARTH SC 2B03 , EARTH SC 2E03 , EARTH SC 2EI3 , 2G03, 2I03, EARTH SC 2Q03 , ENVIR SC 2B03 , ENVIR SC 2E03 , 2G03, 2I03, ENVIR SC 2Q03 , GEOG 2EI3 , ISCI 2A18 ; and registration in Level III or above of Honours Biology and Environmental Sciences, Honours Environmental Sciences, Honours Geography and Environmental Sciences, Honours Geography and Environmental Studies; and permission of the instructor.
