KINESIOL 2C03 - Neuromuscular Exercise Physiology3 unit(s)
Examination of neuromuscular function during exercise, with an emphasis on factors limiting strength, speed and power performance. Adaptations to training will also be considered, as well as mechanisms of training-induced muscle damage. Three hours (lectures), two hours (labs); one term Prerequisite(s): KINESIOL 1A03 and KINESIOL 1AA3 and registration in Level II of a Kinesiology program; or both KINESIOL 2Y03 and KINESIOL 2YY3 (or KINESIOL 1Y03 and KINESIOL 1YY3 ), or BIOLOGY 2A03 , and registration in Honours Biology (Physiology Specialization) (See Department Note 8 above.)
