This course examines, from a managerial perspective, the major types of financial institutions in Canada: chartered banks, trust companies, insurance companies, investment banks and other institutional investors.
Lectures (three hours)
Prerequisite(s): COMMERCE 3FA3 and registration in Level III or above of an Honours Commerce, Engineering & Management, or Actuarial Financial Mathematics program; or registration in Level IV of the Commerce program.
