Problem-based geoscience workshop focused on interpretation of seismic, well log, geochemical and other data to develop petrolem exploration prospects. Data is provided yearly by the American Association of Petroleum Geologists as part of the Imperial Barrell Award (IBA) contest. Qualified students may partcipate in the Canadian Regional Competition. Lectures on petroleum systems and exploration will be provided on an as-needed basis.
