BIOMEDDC 701 / Team Project

Prerequisite(s): Must be enrolled in Biomedical Discovery and Commercialization Program

Students will work in small teams leveraging their training and developing career interests to create business plans and an entrepreneurial pitch for a new venture in biomedicine. Each team will be paired with an entrepreneur/company and will gain first-hand experience in entrepreneurship by helping to advance innovative Life Sciences products and services out of the lab and into the market. BIOMEDDC 701 (Team Project) will run concurrently with BUSINESS B735 (Multidisciplinary Entrepreneurship), which will allow students to apply the theory they learn in the classroom to the real world.
