CIV ENG 745 / Multivariate Statistical Models and Data Processing Methods in Civil Engineering

Prerequisite(s): Statistical analysis - Undergraduate level

The course focuses on the practical procedures to develop, apply, and interpret multivariate statistical models, while considering the inherited limitations and the advantages of each modelling technique. Such procedures will be facilitated through the course weekly assignments. Four families of models are discussed in this course including: data manipulation & preparation, data processing
techniques (e.g Exploratory Factor Analysis and Cluster Analysis), prediction models (e.g. Regression), and latent models (e.g. structural equation models and path analysis).
