CMTYENGA 2MC3 - Design and Creation of Engaged Learning for Community Youth

In this introductory course students will work in small teams to create a blended (part digital and in-person) interactive workshop for youth (ages 7 to 14) in consultation with faculty at the university and those in the broader community. In doing so, students will learn the best practices for (1) designing and presenting interactive experiences for youth; (2) the principles of community-engagement and (3) the art of knowledge translation and communication. The topic for these creations can be in any discipline. Additionally, you will be provided the opportunity to take these projects out into the community as part of the McMaster Children and Youth University program if you take CMTYENGA 2MD3.
