EARTHSC 4PA3 - Paleoenvironmental Analysis

3 unit(s)
Reconstructing past environmental change using sediment archives in lakes and ocean basins. Practical aspects of reconstructing anthropogenic and climate change including age dating, lithological, biological and geochemical proxies. One mandatory day-long fieldtrip will occur on a weekend during the term.
Two lectures, one lab (three hours); one term
Prerequisite(s): One of EARTHSC 2E03, EARTHSC 2G03, ENVIRSC 2E03, ISCI 2A18 A/B Priority will be given to students in an Honours Earth & Environmental Sciences program or an Honours Environmental Sciences program.
