GERMAN 2Q03 - Horror Film: Vampires, Monsters, and Mad Scientists (Taught in English)

This course will explore the aesthetics of gore and violence in both classic gothic & expressionist film noir and contemporary horror films from around the world, using methods drawn from film theory and cultural studies.
Four hours (Two hours for screening, two hours for lecture); one term
Prerequisite(s): Registration in Level II or above of any program
