This course will analyze the ways Diné (Navajo) and Dene literature and film challenge and reframe self (subjectivity) and place (dislocated, relocated, diasporic, and decolonized). Texts may include film, fiction, poetry, orality, autobiography, literary criticism, and scholarly prose.
