MUSIC 1EE6 A/B - Applied Music 6 unit(s)
Intensive study of the technique and repertoire of any solo instrument or voice adhering to a particular style (such as Western classical, Broadway, jazz or pop), or individual instruction in composition. Must be taken in a different area of study from MUSIC 1E06 A/B.
Weekly one-hour meetings per term; two terms
Prerequisite(s): Successful audition at approximately Grade 6 RCM level (for solo performance) or equivalent, or a portfolio of written compositions (for composition); and permission of the School of the Arts.
This course is intended for students who are not in a Music program, or for study of a different subject area from MUSIC 1E06 A/B . Lesson fees are charged to students taking MUSIC 1EE6 A/B.
