Honours Communication Studies (B.A.)

Communication Studies is an academic discipline which encompasses many fields of inquiry. Graduates of this program will have an advanced knowledge of the nature, function and evolution of communication, and will develop both practical and theoretical skills necessary to pursue careers in the field of communications.
Students wishing to enter this program must complete an application for admission to Level II on MUGSI in mid-March to be considered for admission.

Admission
Completion of any Level I program and a Cumulative Average of at least 5.0 including a grade of at least C in CMST 1A03 . For continuation in the program, see the section on Minimum Requirements for Entering and Continuing in a Program Beyond Level I, here . Notes
- Students are strongly encouraged to take CMST 2A03 , CMST 2B03 , CMST 2C03 , and CMST 2CC3 by the end of Level II
- Students wishing to take more than the required six units of Level IV Communication Studies courses must first obtain permission from the undergraduate advisor for the Communication Studies program.
