The School of Business will admit a maximum of 30 students to the Minor in Finance each year. Admission decisions are made on behalf of the Undergraduate Recruitment, Admissions, and Student Affairs Committee of the DeGroote School of Business.
Notes
The Minor is not open to students registered in any Commerce or Engineering and Management program.
For admission, students must complete an application for admission to the Minor by using the Service Request function in the Student Centre in Mosaic before April 30th.
Students seeking the Minor must have completed ECON 1B03 and 1BB3 with an average of at least 7.0.
Students seeking to obtain the Minor must complete both ECON 2B03and 2H03 before undertaking any Level III or Level IV Finance courses.
For the purposes of this Minor, all courses listed as anti-requisite for COMMERCE 2QA3 in the Course Listingssection of the Undergraduate Calendar will be accepted as a substitute for ECON 2B03.
