The Canadian Housing program explores the Canadian housing system, housing policy, programs and the fundamentals and history of housing in Canada’s market-based system. You will learn how governments have become involved in housing and gain a critical understanding of the social, economic, and political context in which housing is delivered locally and nationally. In addition to reviewing past and present issues in housing, you will compare housing policies nationally and internationally and learn how data can assist in analyzing housing-related research questions. In partnership with Canadian Housing Evidence Collaborative (CHEC-CCRL), the Canadian Housing program provides you with the necessary knowledge, skills and expertise to prepare you for a profession for this in-demand, booming industry. Expand your professional skill set to enter or advance your career in this growing field.
