CMST 2C03 - Communication Theory: Fundamental Perspectives

This course provides an introduction to a variety of theories from multiple traditions in media and communication studies. Important theoretical debates and tensions will be discussed. Theoretical concepts will be become an important part of the toolkit for studying in the program and will provide a foundation for upper-level courses.
Three hours (lectures and tutorials); one term
Prerequisite(s): CMST 1A03 ; and registration in Level II or above of a program in Communication Studies or Multimedia
