This course introduces concepts integral to pharmacotherapy, advanced counselling, and complementary therapies predominantly related to common episodic conditions of clients across the lifespan. It emphasizes the therapeutic care plan approach, which focuses on the following aspects: drug-related problems, goals of therapies, analysis of different therapeutic approaches, need for referral, monitoring parameters, acceptability to the client, and followup.
