An intensive course for developing oral and written production and comprehension (level A1 of the CEFRL). The normal sequel to this course is FRENCH 2Z06 A/B. This course cannot be applied toward a Minor in French.
Four hours (three hours lecture, one hour tutorial); two terms
Prerequisite(s): This course is designed for students with no background in French or with Grade 9 or 10 French.
Antirequisite(s): Grade 11 or 12 French U, FRENCH 1A06 A/B, FRENCH 2Z06 A/B
Not open to Immersion students or Francophones.
The Department reserves the right to place students in the course most appropriate to their abilities.
