ART 3CI3 - Concentrated Study Intaglio

Students will have the opportunity to try photo etching, aquatint, hard and soft ground for hand drawing and material impressions. This course explores intaglio processes that use traditional concepts in combination with alternative applications that have a safer impact on the environment and artist.
Three hour studio; one term
Prerequisite(s): IARTS 2PM3 and registration in Level II or above of any iArts program; or registration in Level III or above of Honours Studio Art; or permission of instructor.
