BIOMEDDC 3WR3 - Biochemistry and Biomedical Scientific Writing: Right your Write

This course will give students a foundational understanding of scientific writing for the biomedical sciences, and learn to apply these in structured written formats. Fundamental principles of effective scientific writing, analysis of published articles and an overview of how to effectively convey a scientific story will be taught and practiced. Throughout the course, students will be given practical examples of science writing and will be given writing exercises with opportunities for frequent feedback and review to improve their written communications. A workshop on advanced figure design is also provided.

Prerequisite(s): Registration in Level II or above of any Biochemistry program or the Biomedical Discovery and Commercialization program or by permission of the BDC Program
