PHILOS 2U03 - Philosophy of Health and Medicine

An introductory course examining philosophical issues in health and medicine. Topics may include: defining “health” and “disease”; justifying different study designs to measure therapeutic effectiveness or health outcomes; how scientific findings can and should be used to support clinical practice.
