LINGUIST 4TP3 - Teaching Practicum for Linguists

3 unit(s)
In this Experiential Learning course, students complete at least 36 hours observing and practice teaching under the supervision of a Linguistics instructor. Students will complete a Learning Portfolio documenting their experience. Practice teaching topics will be offered in TESL or Linguistics on rotation. Consult the department website for topic and instructions on requesting permission for this course.
Three units; One term
Prerequisite(s): Registration in Level IV of a program in Linguistics with a minimum cumulative Grade Point Average of 9.0 and permission of the Department.
Antirequisite(s): LINGUIST 4TE3
