3 unit(s) A discussion of the major classes of behaviour shared by most animals including humans. The course will integrate evolutionary analyses with an in-depth discussion of the genetic and cognitive mechanisms that generate behaviour. Three lectures; one term Prerequisite(s): One of PSYCH 1F03, 1N03, 1X03 and PSYCH 1XX3 with a grade of at least C+ in each, and one of BIOLOGY 1M03, 1P03, or Grade 12 Biology U, and registration in Level II or above; or ISCI 1A24; or registration in Level II or above of an Arts & Science or B.H.Sc.
