Honours Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour (B.A.)

Admission

Enrolment in this program is limited and possession of the published minimum requirements does not guarantee admission. Selection is based on academic achievement but requires, as a minimum, completion of any Level I program with a Grade Point Average of at least 5.0; a grade of at least B- in  or  (See Note 4 below); credit in one of , ,  or Grade 12 Biology U (See Note 5 below); and credit in  or .  (See Note 1 below).

Notes

1. Students with Grade 12 Calculus and Vectors U must take  or . Students with Grade 12 Advanced Functions U must complete  prior to completing  or . Students with Grade 11 Math must first take  prior to completing  and then one of  or .          
2. Students considering applying to graduate school should complete a course with a strong research component such as , , , , . Students wishing to complete undergraduate research are expected to (a) find their own research supervisor and (b) complete the appropriate application/permission forms by the deadline indicated on the PNB website (https://pnb.mcmaster.ca/undergraduate/experiential-opportunities/research-2/). 
3. , , , , , 3CD3 may only be used as electives.
4. Either  or  is required for Admission but  is recommended. Completion of one of  or  is required by the end of Level II but  is recommended in Level I.
5. It is recommended that students take  in Level I, and  in Level II.
