The minor in Muslim Studies provides the opportunity to study Muslim beliefs, practices, thought, and history in a variety of geographic locales and timeframes.
Students are required to complete 24 units in total for the minor. A minimum of six units are required from list A, which includes courses focused wholly on Muslims and Islam. A minimum of six units are required from list B, which includes courses that provide key background for understanding Islamic history and Muslims in wider contexts. The remaining 12 units are to be taken from list A or B. It is the student’s responsibility to check carefully for prerequisites, co-requisites and enrolment restrictions for all courses on these lists.
