Students wishing to enter this program must complete an application for admission to Level II on MUGSI in mid-March to be considered for admission.

Admission
Completion of any Level I program and a Cumulative Average of at least 5.0 and an average of at least 5.0 in six units of Level I Philosophy (or, if no such course was taken, in six units of work acceptable to the Department of Philosophy) and Grade 12 Biology U or BIOLOGY 1P03 (High School replacement) and three units of Level I Mathematics. Students are cautioned to observe that CHEM 1AA3 is the normal prerequisite for BIOLOGY 2B03 and 2C03 which are listed in a 24-unit series of courses from which students must complete 12 units. - Students are advised to note carefully the prerequisites for all courses. Students are also advised to take note that not all courses are offered every year. Please consult the university Master Timetable.
- Students should seek counselling from both the Department of Philosophy and the Department of Biology.
- Upon completion of 60 units of work and with the approval of the Department of Philosophy and the Office of the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, one or both terms of Level III may be replaced by courses of study at a designated university abroad.
